The Transformative Power of Jazz Event

We hope you will join us on Sunday, January 30th, from 2:00-4:00pm for an afternoon of jazz and dialogue at the Boston Community Center.  This event is free and open to the public and will feature a live performance by Garrison Fewell and Eric Hofbauer, followed by a panel discussionwith Garrison, Eric, Kenwood Dennard, and Emi Inaba.   The theme for the day will be on the transformative power ofjazz.  Inspiration for this event comes from President Ikeda's current dialogue with jazz legends, Herbie Hancock and Wayne Shorter and also celebrates the 2nd anniversary of the opening of the Boston Community Center.
